Developmental Therapist (Full time and Part time)
Location Main Office located in the Southwest area of Chicago and children are serviced throughout the Chicago-land area and surrounding suburbs.
Description Primarily responsible for home base therapeutic services; to children with developmental delays 0 -3 years of age through play-based sessions; teaching children how to play appropriately with various toys. Center base play group therapy; guiding children within the same age group to interact and socialize in a safe and natural environment while learning how to take turns, follow instructions and learn how to share with their peers. Following the Individualized Family Service Plan and creating a curriculum based on meeting each child’s goals. Assist in developing problem solving skills. Preparing child for school by transitioning from each activity and teaching routines skills. Providing parental support.
Requirements Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, Special Education: Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Blind/Partially Sighted, Child Development/Family Studies, Early Intervention, Elementary Education, Developmental Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Bachelors degree or higher and a full specialist credential in the Early Intervention program; or a current license in art, music, recreation, or other type of therapy, rehabilitative or habilitative in nature, in the state of Illinois.
  • 30 clock hours or CEU credit hours in each of the following EI core knowledge content areas: the Development of Young Children; Typical and Atypical; Working with Families of Young Children with Disabilities; Intervention Strategies for Young Children with Special Needs; and Assessment of Young Children with Special Needs.
  • Experience working with children 0-3 years of age
  • Must meet any/all Early Intervention of Illinois Program Requirements


Speech Language Pathologist (Full time and Part time)
Location Main Office located in the Southwest area of Chicago and children are serviced throughout the Chicago-land area and surrounding suburbs.
Description Primarily responsible for conducting home or center based therapeutic services to children with Speech Delays whom are 0-3 in age and are enrolled in the Early Intervention Program of Illinois. Therapists are responsible to follow the service plan and create a curriculum based on meeting each child’s goals. All Speech Therapist will be responsible for conducting all six month and annual evaluations for all the children on their case load as well as the children on the caseload of their assistants. The speech therapist will also be responsible for supervision of any assistants on a quarterly basis to assure proper follow up and progress is occurring with each client.
Requirements Qualifications
  • Speech/Language Pathologists with a current license in the State of Illinois
  • Experience working with children 0-3 years of age
  • Must meet any/all Early Intervention of Illinois Program Requirements
